02/11/2013 – now with pic

Still coughing – but hasn’t developed into a chest infection, but it’s bad enough just to make me constantly feel exhausted.  Friday I didn’t go to my cleaning job as the cough was so bad it was making me throw up. I was also going to go to Emma’s rememberance service, but stayed away as the last thing anyone would have wanted was to hear all the coughing going on.  My boss did bring me the Order of service though, which had a lovely photo of Emma from her slightly younger days (she was probably about 80ish!)

Friday hubby had to talk at his company’s annual conference.  He was absolutely pooping himself with worry, but came back on a total high as it had gone very well and he had been complimented by bosses and co workers.  Lets hope he has impressed everyone enough to get the promotion he is so desparately wanting.

Kids are on half term this week. Had to take my son to the orthodontist first thing this morning to finally have his brace removed.  Had to say it all looked pretty brutal, and he left with bleeding gums. But he didn’t complain. We have to go back on wednesday for him to have the retainer fitted.  He said it was wierd, when he looked in the mirror his teeth looked huge!  Having been partially covered for the last year I guess they do.  They also look amazingly straight – he is a happy bunny!

We had more snow overnight and it is still snowing now. But it is the wet stuff and as everywhere was already soaked from all the rain – it mostly hasn’t settled too much. 

We are having our 3rd attempt to get to Wales on friday. Fingers crossed we will get there this time. 

I have sunk into my latest obsession very nicely – gone a bit Jeremy Renner crazy *sigh*  He was one of the presenters at the BAFTAS last night (just an hour away from me – fan girly giggle!)  And he is going to be one of Graham Norton’s guests on friday, although not sure when that is actually filmed, don’t think it’s live, could be wrong…. anyway I’m rambling, he’s on the same land mass as me right now.  Just as well I don’t have the opertunity or funds to become a proper stalker lol.

Right – better go – I have cupcakes to frost
