It rained last night and this morning all the snow had gone! Totally wierd how yesterday everywhere still had a couple of inches over the ground and today – we see the grass for the first time in 2 weeks. Of course, this has meant some more flooding in some areas. Again we seem to have missed the worst of it. It was so good walking and not slipping and driving without fear of skidding *sigh*

Have felt fairly subdued this weekend, and after my last call I just got into my pj’s and made myself a cuppa tea (a nice herbal one that is meant to help me sleep, hmmm we will see!)  Just felt like popping online for a while and before you know it you have been on for almost an hour – opps!  Hubby and eldest are watching Brian Cox’s new programme, and quite frankly I’m too tired to watch anything intellectual!

Yesterday evening my son said ‘hey mum, there is a film on tonight with that bloke you fancy in it’  hehe  Don’t I have the most considerate children 🙂  I recorded it and managed to watch it this afternoon (I know, very frivolous of me!)  I did attempt to do the ironing at the same time, but it’s quite a tense film so I needed to concentrate on what was happening.  The film was The Hurt Locker. Kind of assisted with the lusting after ermmm I mean admiring of Jeremy Renner 😀  Hey – a girl can dream!

I have a busy week coming up. Meeting up with a friend for a catch up chat and a bit of lunch tomorrow. On wednesday I am going to meet up with someone I used to work with for a crystal healling session.  She is recently qualified and is looking for people to practice on.  It’s always facinated me, so thought I’d give it a try.  Thursday I have to go get 2 new tyres on my car and at the same time it will be having the tracking done and an oil change.  It has behaved itself in all this snowy weather so though we would give it a treat. Well it has actually needed new tyres for a while, but had to wait for funds!  Now we have lost Emma, the girls who work during the week day mornings will need to pick  up more hours, which will probably mean I have to drop a call on one of my mornings.  We will have to start advertising I think as there won’t be enough hours to keep a certain person at work happy.  And I’m not having her take all my hours, I have to stay strong on that and not let her persuade me otherwise. 

Right off to read for a while.  Still reading A casual vacancy,(J K Rowling) finding a little slow to be honest, but will stick with it till the end.
