And so the story continues…

Andrew arrived and we loaded the car on the trailer on Saturday, took it to the garage, drove it about 10 yards onto the forecourt, and the mechanic was there waiting for it, took it away straight away. The “Boss” wasn’t there, and I think they took it away so quick because they knew I wasn’t happy! So I left with them promising they would phone me either later that day or on Sunday. Guess what? No phone call!! I phoned this morning (Monday) and they were expecting the part to arrive today. So why couldn’t they phone me and tell me? The bloody customer service is crap, not a happy customer at all. And now, of course, Dawn has lost all confidence in the car and will not drive it. (she tells me she didn’t like the car in the first place, despite telling me she trusted my judgement in buying a car!) So I shall ask them if they will buy it back, but if not I have somewhere else I can sell it to. Probably lose a fair bit of money, but at least then we could buy something she would be happy with. Paula and Andrew have still got their old car sitting in the drive. I wanted to buy that ages ago but Dawn said she didn’t want it, plus the fact it is a manual gearbox, not automatic, but I know it is a good car, plus the fact Andrew knows it well and will sort out anything if it goes wrong. It’s a Peugeot 306 diesel estate, in a lovely metallic blue. So it will be cheaper on fuel and also cheaper for road tax. One of these days I will actually get something right!!

I went out on the bike yesterday which was really nice. The weather is nice and warm again I’m glad to say. Hope it stays like this for a while.
