Had my review at the GP on Tuesday. Still feel no better and told him so. As I knew, he told me that the tablets take at least 3-4 weeks to take effect, so he’s not surprised. Left me on the same dose for now. Also has given me another sick note for 3 more weeks and then said he wants to see me in 4 weeks time???? Ay??? Strange one that, but I shall re-visit him in 3 weeks in case I do need any more time.
Wednesday saw Jayden’s (grandson) 2nd birthday. He was totally spoiled , surprise, surprise. He’s certainly his own character, and now he’s two, Paula reports he is really misbehaving! Poor Logan is coming in for some hard hitting until Paula can drag Jayden off! LOL .  We had arranged to all go to a Farm Zoo type place on the Wednesday, but the kids were so hyper that day that I just couldn’t handle it. I felt really uptight when they were here, so I stayed at home and felt such relief when they had gone. It also happened to be the 2nd (8th) birthday of Hiro, Vicki’s Pug, her "baby"!
Picked our “new-to-us” Nissan on Thursday and the weather was awful. Had been nice all day, but suddenly clouded over and the heavens opened. Absolutely awful. Dropped my sick note in at work as it was close by, didn’t stop, it was literally straight in and out again. Works for me! The car is good. Bit more basic than the last one but engine and gearbox are a lot smoother.  I’m sure I’ll be able to sort bits out as I go along to make it better specification!
Lee was supposed to pick his new car up today but the garage phoned earlier and said that the special controls were still being fitted and it wouldn’t be ready until Monday. Big disappointment all round, but we can wait. It’s not as if we are “car-less”.
On the job-front, there was an advert in this week’s nursing mag, and I also had an e-mail informing me about it, for SSAFA which is a civilian service that works and supports  the British Forces at home and overseas. The job is for a Team Leader, Primary Care in Germany.   They are looking for people who want their first taste of management in health service. This is the opportunity I have been searching for for ages. Of course, the only hiccup is the fact it’s overseas and no way will Dawn move. We have all discussed this and I am going to apply for it and see what happens. If I get the job I will give it 3-6 months to see how I cope. If I find it too hard then I will return and more than likely be able to walk straight back into the Walk-In Centre! (many people have done this already!)
Well, that’s all the news for now. I’ll post more when I have something to say!
Before you agree to do anything that might add even the smallest amount of stress to your life, ask yourself: What is my truest intention? Give yourself time to let a yes resound within you. When it’s right, I guarantee that your entire body will feel it.

Busy as always. Hope your health can improve soon and that you get a nice good-paying job! It might be a nice adventure. How’s your studies progressing?

ryn: Duuuuude! I never saw me as a Sedona driver, either! I’m more of a muscle car type but insufficient funds and lack of time to work on a car have left me driving a freakin Kia…
