Where, O Where Has it Gone?

Wow. Can you believe it’s February already? Can someone tell me where January went?

Unfortunately, there’s not much going on in my world at the moment. Just a lot little nit-picky things that don’t make a hill-o-beans about anything…but enough to get me griping about them.

Kinda like the e-mail situation. I mean, come on! If I buy something from your company, say thanks and move on. I damn sure don’t need a daily/weekly/monthly reminder that you are having a “clearance” sale and that I can now get another 25% off of “clearance” prices. Especially after I made sure to uncheck the little box that said something about receiving e-mail offers. I mean, WTF? Why can’t you just leave me alone and let me buy when I have money and if I want to buy from you a second time? Sheesh!

That’s just one example of things that are just getting under my skin for some reason recently.

I was able to get home for the weekend and spent the majority of my time lying on the couch in my pajamas, under a blanket, alternately watching TV and playing with the Wii and playing with the laptop. I came home with a cold that I hope I did well enough to not give to Gina and Cody by sequestering myself on the couch and being antisocial.

Friday though, I was feeling a little better and took the car from Gina for the afternoon and went out to get a game for the Wii, a book for Cody (which I hope he reads), and stopped in to see a geocaching friend. I ended up meeting my friend and her husband later that afternoon at my place and we went after the cache that I had placed close to my house since they had had issues finding it before.

Which led to last night and today. Sometimes last night while I was packing my things up to load onto the truck, I went looking for my GPS. And not finding it, I proceeded to start tearing the house apart, then the car, then the house again, and back to the car and over and over again. This morning, I went out into the woods looking for it, thinking I might have dropped it out of my pocket. No luck.

Gina came through for me though. She was just getting back to work and decided to take one more look under the seats of the car and…shazaam! There it was! She made my day and I was able to get my GPS to bring on the road with me after all. At least my geocaching days haven’t been put on hold after all.

Till Next Time,
Blessings!

Sometimes time just seems to disappear into a black hole. I was just thinking myself this morning – WHAT HAPPENED TO JANUARY! EGADS the year is slipping by already… I totally understand your frustration with companies emailing you crap you don’t want to know about. I had 12 of those this morning from companies I haven’t even brought stuff off, only visited their websites. Its just rude if youask me. LOL. Sorry to hear you have a cold.

I would have been really pissed to lose my GPS. I’ve lost a cell phone while caching…that caused me alot less stress! lol.
