Today, I got some news.

It was good news.

I thought I’d share.

Oh, what’s the news already?

Well, it’s good news. Or did I already mention that?

So, what happened was that Gina and I decided to go out for dinner tonight and, after we enjoyed a good meal at Chili’s with a good friend and his wife, we went to Wal-Mart. See, I went to Kroger last night for basil for the Lasagna Stoup that I made last night and it cost $5 for the basil…a little much in my opinion. So, we went to Wal-Mart to buy the makings for growing our own herbs like basil and tarragon and oregano and, while we were there, I called the bank to check the account balance and promptly freaked Gina out.

See, I’ve been approved for my unemployment insurance and it was direct deposited into our account as of yesterday. About 3 weeks worth at once.
