More Geocaching Pictures

So, I get this message from my mother last night saying, “I sure wish Riverwolf would get on OD and share some of his geocaching adventures.” Yeah, I found it strange that my mother would call me Riverwolf too. But, I digress.

As for geocaching, today has been a good day. I’ve added another state to my list – Iowa – and ended up with seven finds as of this exact moment. I may try to get the eighth in about 30 minutes if I can get this entry done in time.

Not much in the way of “adventures” though for me. I’m just going done the road, grabbing caches as I can and taking a few pictures. So, I guess I’ll share them with you.

This little guy was guarding a cache at the Welcome Center on I-75 in Florida.

This is a pet cemetery. Funny thing about this particular cache is that when I went in to go after it, some animal was scared off that I didn’t see. And then, after walking around the back of my truck and getting in, there was a dog laying in the street next to the back corner of the truck…right where I had just walked by. It kinda freaked me out.

This is at a rest area in Wisconsin today. They apparently did a mock up of a silo and chimney with the area in between being the house. I just thought it looked cool.

After making it up the road to the next cache, I was unable to get it because the rest area was closed. Oh well, 7 today for a total of 197. Tomorrow, over 200!
