92 in 30. But it seems so trivial all of a sudden
Like wow. I mean, like totally wow.
See, I had this whole thing planned out in my mind today about how I was going to get stopped this evening and type up a great a positive entry on how I had, in the first thirty days of GeoCaching, gotten 90 (actually 92), making my average of 3 finds a day.
However.
Tonights last cache just completely bummed me out. Im in Jackson, GA right now at a juncture where 3 major truck stops are on the east side of I-75. Theres a cache about .14 mile from me as I type this. And going after it bummed me out.
The cache is a micro, meaning its just a small container with a log in it and it sits in the middle of a cemetery. Thats not what hit me so bad about this; I can handle cemeteries even at dusk and in the dark. What bothered me so much was the state of disrepair this particular cemetery is in.
Granted, its an old cemetery. But there are headstones in there that I saw that dated to 1993 for date of death and this place looked like it hadnt seen a caretaker in years. I only wish that I had brought my camera with me to document what I saw. A headstone, broken off, partially buried and, when uncovered, had the inscription Gone but Not Forgotten.
I about cried right then and there.
So, no pictures like I had planned. Im just not in the picture posting mood.

That sucks to find a cemetary that’s not being taken care of, especially with stones as recent as that. One would think that the families would want those sites better taken care of.

That truly is sad.

That is so sad. I always wanted to be able to put flowers on every grave in our county that doesn’t have flowers on Memorial Day. Some day I’m going to do it!

r= we picked a price range and were shown cars in it. Then we picked this one because I only drive 7 miles to work each day, and I definitely love it..was just worried about the money issue but I think we can manage. Thank you
