I hired R to be my coach to help me manage shift work. I’m not sure that the shift work is the problem though. I feel better than ever on the shifts I’ve been working lately. There is something though, a blockage? something that is preventing me from doing what I need to. I have the knowledge, I know I need to drink water, prioritise protein, I know how to track my macros, etc, etc. but I’m getting home from work and I’m sitting down and I’m eating and that’s it. I wake up the next day and feel shitty but I go ahead and do it all again.
The days that I do what I’m supposed to, I feel amazing. I did it! I’m on track! but it’s never long before I’m diving head first into a pack of chips and washing it down with a bottle of wine.
