A character concept.
Lengthy character idea that will be used in RP (though the epic last bits won’t be).
Kimura Kichirou was the fifth son of a poor family who from a young age realized that he wasn’t particularly good at anything. He was sold by his father to a nobleman in a nearby providence. Upon hearing that he was to be castrated for work with the concubines he disguised himself as one of the geishas and escaped. After learning of his escape the noble put a bounty on Kimura’s head.
Kimura then spent six months pretending to be a Buddhist monk by the name of Akiyama Diasuke. One day a ronin by the name of Kurosawa Ayumu came to the temple badly wounded. He was a warrior of infamy and was greatly feared throughout the country. Fearing that the man would catch him Kimura desperately sought a way out. He spoke at great lengths with Kurosawa and learned a great deal of Bushido though he had no skill with a blade. Then, one day as Kurosawa was sitting for a meal he recognized Kimura and shouted, but instead choked on a hunk of meat and died. Kimura saw this chance and quickly buried the body took the man’s sword and created yet another persona Maki Yuudai.
As Maki he went around telling great tales of how he defeated Kurosawa and took his sword as proof of his conquest. Soon, he himself became known as a great warrior (though he was not and survived only through the most extreme of luck). His very name made bandits shake and run in fear. So Kimura went about for several years pretending to be a great warrior living fat off the gullibility of peasants. Soon however he found that his name entitled him to a certain level of performance and was asked to defeat several demons. He bested a gyuki but only barely. He learned it best to convince his foes that they did not stand a chance against him and then if they called his bluff to just not be where their blows landed and eventually they would falter and he could defeat them.
He tricked a hyakume (a beast with 100 eyes) into trying to look cross-eyed which caused a great blind-spot and he struck. However soon the village was plagued by Jion, a great serpent demon who kidnapped a young woman who Kimura had fallen in love with. He crept into the cave to rescue her and she gave birth to a swarm of smaller snakes who consumed her, he was so afraid he ran off and lived in the mountains vowing never again to pick up a sword or assume the identity of another. After several years he fell in love with a woman who reminded him of his first love and heard news that Jion was now ruling over the entire area and was soon to attack the village at the base of the mountain where he was living.
Upon hearing that he knew he couldn’t let events repeat themselves and he goes to a sword-maker and apprentices himself, crafting a blade for himself and sets off to the cave where Jion dwells. A great battle ensues and he is bitten by the serpent and soon begins to hallucinate and knows that he will not survive. He however cuts the head off Jion. As he prepares to leave the head lunges and bites Kimura’s torso, he takes the blade and stabs through the head and into his chest, killing himself and dying. He dies alone in the cave without telling the second woman that he loved her and without anyone knowing what he had done.

Pretty much everything after when Kimura assumes the identity of Maki is the end of what I’d be able to use for RP.

I would have to say “no.” I say no because the distance being traveled is doubled but the two are still doing the same speed.

ryn: the first one of course lol. I hadn’t even heard of the 2nd one until I went to get the first one. meh. ~♥~

RYN: I don’t know anymore about the whole theistic/atheistic debate anymore. I’m about tired of it because it’s a no win situation for everyone and I feel that efforts could/should be made in other areas of humanity. Most atheists claim to be secular but will spend more time arguing that fact then actually doing anything about it. Now there are people that do this but there are not enough.

As a matter of fact, I don’t even (don’t know if I ever have) considered myself ‘an’ atheist. I’m definitely atheistic but…to put a label on it? I don’t know. If anything I would have to consider myself as someone that would like to see the conditions of man to be approved upon. We have groups/corporations spending MILLIONS of dollars on advertisement saying that they did this or they did…

that. It’s a kind of self defeating prophecy in my book as if you were really doing it to do it you wouldn’t care about advertisement. Not the kind you paid for anyway. Most likely it would be advertised if you were to let a magazine, newspaper, etc. know before you do it. I try and help people all the time and I don’t go show boating it around that I do it. I do it because I want to and…

is usually enough in itself to get people started talking. That is just me though. I can’t speak for anyone else but I will argue to this day that all religion is wrong and that atheism in itself is NOT a religion as religion. As religion is a set of beliefs and atheism is a set of NON beliefs. If you car to talk about that particular topic you can always hit me up on Yahoo!

RYN: It’s possible that they either simply assumed it as known, or didn’t think about it. By happy coincidence, I happen to have just taught the relativity topic recently.

Thank you for clarifying. Sorry if I offended.
