NoJoMo 21

Not much to report this evening. Angela and I got up this morning and Gena brought up us going up to the hospital with her for June’s surgery. I really hadn’t planned on going because it was first thing this morning and so we weren’t going to be there to see her before she went in and afterwards I knew they wouldn’t allow Angela into the ICU to see her and I’ve got a horrible cough. But once it was brought up Angela was all about going so we got around and got ready and went with her. I read on my kindle the whole hour and a half drive up there. We got there and I tried to read in the waiting room but ended up falling asleep in the really comfortable chair I had. Shortly after I woke up June came out of surgery. They did two bypasses and everything went well. Gena and everyone else got to go back and see her once she was settled in the icu. Since they were going to keep her sedated most of the evening anyway Gena and I decided to head home. We got back to Cleveland and hit McDonald’s for lunch and then we went to Walmart. Finally made it home about five. Gena made dinner while I did laundry and went back to work on stockings. I’ve the one that is paid for all done and ready to ship. Then I’ve got four others that one of my regulars wants (but isn’t paying for until the 1st) cut out and laid out along with 7 others cash sale ones. I’m hoping to get them done in the morning along with making my pumpkin pie for dinner at Papaw’s! Well I’m off to do one more stocking before calling it a night!
