five women
thibodaux playhouse put on five women wearing the same dress and i saw it 4 times. i worked the box office two nights and saw it then and went with my daughters and daughterinlaw and saw it for the third time and saw it this past sunday with friends.
on one of the nights i worked, my gang of crazy classmates and dearest friends were there so during intermission i went to where they were seated and chatted with them. they tell me i need to autograph the playbill for them. i said yeah yeah, but they said we are not leaving this theatre unless you give us your autograph. i told them to get the actors to do that, the person accepting tickets (me) dont do autographs. well by this time we are all laughing and the people around us are, too. so i had to sign each and every one of those playbills. i have silly friends.
this past sunday im waiting to see the play with friends that came in from out of town. three of them went to the restroom and im standing at the entrance holding their playbills in my hand. this woman walks up to me and says i will need one of those. this made me giggle, i said ok. i think all of a sudden she realized they were mine and she says so…you know like "those are yours arent they" and i nodded. she says daisy??? is that you? omg you havent changed. (believe me i have) i said yes but i told her she had me but i didnt recognize her, i mean its been 51 years!!!!!!!!!!!! she told me her name and tells me she finished school 6 years later than me. i had no clue who she is, i still dont know her but she sent me an add friend on facebook. i did manage to ask her if i looked this bad 51 years ago that i hadnt changed. this makes me laugh…
this was our advertisement for our play i think it is cute.
I watched the trailer and I reckon the play must have been a riot! Glad you had so much fun.
