Dante and the Pool

Well yesterday i had lunch with a good buddy of mine that i havent hung out with in a long time… since he got fired from work really… i miss him, he is a good guy, laid back, easy going, and he actually has simular thinking structure to my own which makes for awesome conversations, both intulectual and profound and sometimes off the charts. And it looks like he has finally come to the realization that i came to many years ago, that soem of his “friends” and his drug addiction is holding him back from life and the goals he hopes to acheive and so he is in the process of quitting and cutting some of those things out. I am very happy for him, for i was going to talk to him about it at lunch, but he himself brought it up and had already came to that decision and so i just went with it and added my agreement and some insight from my own expirence when i quit and walked away from that world, and i also pointed out how far i had come already and all i had acheived in the mean time to help motivate him, it seemed to work well.

Yesterday we also took Dante to the pool for his first time swimming.. he fucking loved it! he was so happy, all the new sights and sounds and the water, and ya, he pretty much had a blast, we went with an old friend of mine and she brought a friend and her kid, which are all ina decent age range with Dante, thou he isnt much for other kids yet…lol

Well speaking of Dante he is getting into things so i should go and entertain him.
