SO fun weekend.

started off getting up at about 530 in the morning, and taking off. we got to Stevens Point to pick up Mana and Nathan around 8:30ish, and then did even more driving. The drive was pretty much utterly and entirely boring. On the way back Chris even told me he had felt himself wanting to nod off a few times.

Anyway, we got into Minnesota, and had a fun time following all the directions until we eventually reached the hotel around 1:30.

So we dropped our stuff in the room, on the 12th floor, which made me slightly woozy looking down, lol, and then got to climb into the "hotel shuttle" for Mall of America.

after getting through lots of traffic, we made it, and started wandering around. As im sure you can guess, its a pretty big place. Chris, although highly scared of all things roller-coaster related, had a fun time watching at the indoor Nickelodeon park, and we ended up only buying two things. One being his Pink Floyd poster he had been looking for since, like, I met him, and the other a swimsuit for myself.

I REALLY wanted to buy this work of art that was in the last store we went into, that was only, like, $17, but I didn’t.  We did however find a store to rival Love Sac, which made us all happy. Its about 10 times cheaper, and so Chris is actually very interested in checking into it some more. *grin* It’s nifty, just as comfy, and they turn into beds. Chris wants to actually get the sofa one, which turns into two king sized beds.

So then there was dinner, at Hooters. We all spent a good amount of it checking out the chicks, but also felt like if we would get caught, we’d be considered huge perverts or something, lol.

The food was good, which made it even better.

Then we tried to go back to the hotel. That part sucked. The shuttle was late, so that was bad enough, and then there was a whole bunch of people, and everyone decided, despite that the fours of us were standing in line first, they got to push us out of the way and get on first. So, because of the amount of people, we got stuck waiting for about another 25 minutes, and it was getting pretty cold. Nathan was worst off, due to no jacket or anything. It wasn’t fun.

When finally back we decided to go to the pool, which was packed, so we sat in the hot tub for about 10 minutes. Then bed time. Chris and I both drifted off for about an hour, and then were very much awake. So he gave me a sleeping pill and i was GONE in about 15 minutes. He apparently had difficulty waking me in the morning. >.<

Had our free breakfast, hung out in the room a tiny bit, then went to Ikea, where Chris and I very possibly may have found a stand for our big screen. We need to get it FIXED first, and then look into it though. I didn’t want to spend the $50 to find out we wouldn’t be able to fix it.

Then the drive back, which was more fun…. Chris and I ended up getting home by about 7:30/8. We took a different way home, because he wanted to go see the place he used to go camping at. It made him really enjoy his birthday, which made me happy. The trailer he used to go to was still there, including the screen porch his dad had built onto it. I liked seeing him enjoy it like that.

When we got home I was pretty much just worn out from sitting in a car so long. Not something I want to do often, lol.

This afternoon I got my warts frozen again >.> it hurts a lot, and I need to take something and sleep, since I have to attend to work in the morning. UGH. i really really really really do not want to go to work. So nice being off and relaxing.
