books and more books

so i havent wanted to write lately because all im doing is reading. my big thing right now is these two books i just got from half price books by philippa gregory. shes the person who wrote The Other Boleyn Girl, and the two im reading now have to do with Elizabeth I.

shes a good history fiction author. like, she researches everything to a tee, and then puts in little plots to it all. its really good. i like her work a lot.

the past few days at work have kinda sucked a little. sunday was counting for inventory, monday was inventory, and then today i had to recount everything (well, sorta) and put it all into this new system we have to start working with.

it totally sucks, because its a new way of ordering and everything, so i have to adjust to that now. and i just dont want to. this is all inventory based. the only thing i like about it is that it will stop them from sending 20 more of something that we already have 15 of. this way they would only send 5 more kind of a thing.

otherwise, we have to order with different guns, and a completely different program is used and im just not looking forward to it.

steve is supposed to be letting work know today about whether or not hes gonna be back this upcoming sunday. i soooo hope he is. im taking a 5 day lil vacation for over my birthday and stuff starting thursday, so if hes coming back sunday, i have the extra time to readjust my schedule for it, since ill go back to second shift mostly.

over chris’ birthday at the end of march me and mana (and of course the boys) are planning on going to mall of america and staying in a hotel there for the weekend. i found a hilton right by it, and its about $140 for a normal 2 bed room…. little less if we each decide to go with our own rooms.

guess we shall see.

so…. since i am in much need of a bathroom right now, im gonna go, and shall write more in a few days or so.
