Not too much has changed since my last entry really. The bf and I have been together fer just over a year now. We celebrated our 1yr annivesary on May 12th. Things have been rough lately fer us both.

Just over 2 months ago he came home from work complainin of his handes botherin him to the point that he couldn’t grab a coffee cup. So we went to Urgent Care. The Dr there said tiw was either carpal tunnel or tentanitis and gave him a card to a Dr he knew as "M" didn’t have a PC at that point. We went to that Dr, explained to him what was goin on, and he sent him to a hand specialist. In the meantime he has run several different lab tests. The specialist sent him to a hand surgeon. In all of this , he has had Dr orders that he can’t go back to work. The Hand surgeon came back sayin that he thinks it may be Rheumatoid Arthritis, and ran some more tests. He was wonderin why "M" was sent to him as he is a surgeon and there wasn’t much he could do. We went back to his PCP and the idiot STILL thinks it is "over use". I asked him how that would be possible? If it was over use it would stand to reason that in a period of 2 months of not workin it would get better, right? But it hasn’t, it has spread, to his other hand and his feet. He has no knuckles anymore. It got so bad this last weekend that we went to the ER on Sun. They gave him a number to a Rheumatologist that promised to get him in this week, and released him. He called my brother’s Dr and went to his office this last Mon and likes this guy, so now he is the new PCP. And he goes to the Rheumatologist on Thurs.

Throughout all this, he has had no income comin in. His cell has bene shut off, we couldn’t afford to bring his boys down the second time this summer, and he is late on 2 of  his Child Support payments. When we were under the impression that he could do back to work after 1 week, we went out and traded in his Mazda and got a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 Crew Cab. Guess who had to make the first payment on it? Yup…yers truly. Why you ask? Because I co-signed fer it. I wanted it just as much as he did. Well, now we’re havin to think bout Disability. He was released fer Light Duty Work, but in all actuallity, he can’t function without the use of his hands, and he is havin a very difficult time walkin cuz it has spread to his feet. I have even considered turnin my Blazer back into the bank so I’m not stuck payin 2 truck payments. And of course, we live with my mother,a nd we’re not able to give her any money to help with the bills of the house, that puts a strain there as well.

At this point I am takin each day as it comes. Hopin that the light at the end of the tunnel will show soon.
