Okay Then
Yesterday was a rough day. Today is a new day.
There comes a point in time when a woman simply gets tired of repeating herself. So I will close out here with these final words.
Anyone who believes that being a child of God means “you have no sin or past” doesn’t understand the first thing about the reason we’re all here. The entire book is about rebellious and spiritually slumbering people being brought to life again, forgiven for their sins, freed from sin’s reign, and given another chance to get cleaned up, geared up, and trained up to serve their communities and purposes according to design.
The battle doesn’t end at that moment, though. Nope. It continues and even gets worse at times because of those who wish to drag us back to left-behind places (sins, relationships, situations, circumstances, beliefs, etc.) or put us into new bondage.
The only thing we can do is continue to march forward and be steadfast in faith, despite the setbacks, stumbles, smearing, rejections, traps, and so on. That is what I have done, and that is what I am still choosing to do. I will not repeat myself again.
Anyone who can’t see past another person’s past also can’t see into their own possible bright future, and that’s very unfortunate.
