Fail

Goals were not met yesterday even though I started tasking fairly early. Everything was as difficult as possible with high mileage to burn the gas and long waits to dissipate the “profit” and chill the food. I just fought the good fight, gathered as much as I could, and accepted that I wouldn’t be able to take care of every little bit of that with the resources I had. I’m hoping for today so I can move on to chipping away at the avalanche.

I got offered another “free drink” yesterday. By “drink,” I mean a fountain drink. Sometimes places offer such things, but it always feels like a test. It’s like I can’t just be a regular customer or random tasker without being thrown into a “retail scenario” and having to evaluate it and pass or fail myself. I literally evaluated the scenario in my mind and graded each person on their actions, lol. The manager was there monitoring the situation while the employee carried on like she wasn’t.

I’ll need to decline future kind gestures. I’ll also need to cease the food delivery activities If I ever get the regular employment I seek.

Almost everything work-related that I do and know is rooted in retail. So retail feels like home, no matter what other industries I’ve dabbled with or attempted. I also have sort of a label stamped on me, an invisible branding of sorts.

I don’t remember necessarily asking for or accepting such programming or branding. It kind of snuck itself in there over time and didn’t even let me know it had done such.

Anyway, today is another day. I’ll have to get on my mission soon, but not without making a few phone calls. Like I said, I’ve been driven into the financial pit again. I can only hope that this will be the last time, and it will be enough vengeance and destruction to satisfy those who wished it my way again.

So my phone calls will go to bill collectors and certain other entities. I need to take the time to really look into some things.
