A Quiet Day/ Fake News/Real News

It was a quiet day. I mostly relaxed as I’m supposed to do, and I tried to think about how the heck I’m going to manage. I started to submit a long post, but I went with the abbreviated version instead.

Sat. is the only day I get to rest. Then it’s the same ole story from Sunday to Friday. It’s getting rejected and blown off left and right for a regular job, gig algorithms cutting income potential, bills getting jacked up higher, debts coming back due to circumstances, etc. and blah blah blah.

I got some good sleep, though, and I did some old-fashioned scribbling and brainstorming. Tomorrow, or should I say today, is a whole new day. I’m up ’cause I slept a lot during the day.

On a different note, I try my best not to mess with the media because there’s so much wild stuff out there. One thing it loves to do is trash people after they die. I came across some fake news about C a few weeks ago that was nowhere in sight at any time while he was alive. Now this random Reddit “story” comes up making him into a villain. They had already done enough to him when he was here. Sheesh.

But that’s what the world does to those it hates or discards. It tries to rewrite their history and/or destroy their legacy. It snatches their kids up, poisons their minds, etc.

Today I involuntarily came across some news about his son identifying himself as a female now or some such. His mother (ex-wife and also the heartbreaker mentioned in the “Let Down” song) apparently thinks it’s fantastic. Well, whatever, lol.

This kind of news has a way of finding itself in front of my face from time to time. I do not look for it. It pops up on my phone and whatnot, and it’s not the first time I’ve gotten a similar “take this!” sort of jab-like message regarding this man, his replacement in a band, or something about his family.

All I can say is the son’s career will probably skyrocket now.

As for the father, I’m stiiiiiiiiill gonna love ‘im and stiiiiiiill gonna listen to his voice. ‘Bout to listen to him after daybreak hits today. LOL.
