More Pics for Phoenix…

Okay, because you always need some cheering up…here’s some pictures from the show on Saturday.  I know it’s kind of vain to put pictures of myself up because I know it will make someone else smile, but I know you will, because that’s just who you are.  I’ll have a video soon too, as soon as Gina gets it to me.

This is Gina and I before the show.  This photo was taken by the lovely Sariah!  Yes, I’m sure everyone who reads me regularly knows that name.  That’s the same Sariah from Element.  She and Kim had…well…a disagreement.  They went their separate ways.  She apologized for everything that happened and said the e-mail I got from Kim was much too harsh.  I didn’t even care about any of that!  I was just so happy to see her again!  I missed her so much!  It’s good to have her back!

The dramatic entrance…isn’t that backdrop lovely?  My arms are a bit awkward, but it may just be the timing of the photo.  Note to self, dramatic entrance may look better if it’s in a lower stance or less…well..walking…  We’ll see how it goes with the music when I see the video.

I need to work on pretty hands!  And I think my eyes are closed…or I’m looking at the ground.  Oh well, it’s dramatic and solemn that way, or something.  It’s moody!  That’s it, moody!

No idea what I’m doing with the veil here, but it’s making such a pretty shape that I had to put it up!  Such a neat shape and texture.  I love veils for that reason.  Go, veil. go!

Of course, how can you have veil work without spinning?

And the toss…the veil’s still floating towards the ground.  I look like a real tough girl here, don’t I?  Wow…attitude!

So, yeah, sorry for the grainy quality.  All those pictures were on Sarah’s camera…and apparently it doesn’t like me.  It’s afraid it will make me look better than Sariah!  That’s it!  Sure…

Anyhow, there’s one more picture that came out really well.  It’s by M’lilah from Desert Passion.  I don’t know that she really liked my performance, but I got some good feedback.  We’ll see what happens when the video comes back.

Not the most graceful of arms at that moment.  I really need to start practicing with mirrors.  However, it’s perhaps the best shot of the show!  I came out and did this solemn bow-type thing as I came onto the stage.  It just reminded me of old performers who would come on stage, bow, dance, bow, then return off stage again.
