Brief Update Before I Sleep and Pass Out!

I don’t have much time, so I’ll make this quick.  I’ll leave it on the positive notes with more detail later, but at least then you can see what I’m so happy about!  Aside from my worry for a dear friend’s best friend, it’s been a good day.

1) I finally got my ears pierced.  14G stainless hoops.  I went back to the piercer I went to last time.  It was good.  Annie paid for it for me.  That was also good.  Now my ear itches!  But it’s good, because I have earings.

2) I was asked last minute to dance at a show tomorrow morning.  I’m only going to be performing a bit piece and not the whole day, but it’s good exposure.  I forgot to make up cards so I’m going to have to deal without.

3) Caelan’s in a surprisingly good mood today.  That makes me happy.  I really do love him, after all.

4) I drummed and danced the night away!

5) I got a chance to do something for someone else today, even if it’s someone I don’t know and will probably never meet.  He has my energy to do with what he needs to do.  Hopefully he’ll heal and be better before long.

6) We get mac and cheese tonight!  Cheat night for dinner!

7) We’re taking dinner with tomorrow.  That’s almost one week without eating out!

8) There’s more interest in the class.  I told at least three or four people about it tonight and they’re planning to go!

9) I’ll be vending at Ostara Fest next year!  And dancing!  And I’ll be paying for my booth by selling cowrie falls at their store!  That’s even better!

10) My life is finally starting to turn around.  It’s amazing what a little change of perspective…and Caelan doing well in his Arabic class…can do!
