Trapped

To know the future
Is to be trapped by it
The wisdom of man
Does not reflect nature
So I travel to the unknown
Camouflaged in fear
For my purpose is vacant
Trying to fulfill courage
That disappears
Before I vanish
And become a part of the air

Victory is not what I seek
Unity means more to me
As I train my mind
For the years to come
I’m silent
Waiting for destiny to provide
My final hour to strike
And whatever comes my way
I’ll extinguish in that day

My only protection
Is a deity unknown
As the winds carry me
To where I need to be
I’m transparent
By the light
Bleeding inside my eyes
Alone at sea
Watching me
Alchemically dissect everything
I used to be
