Perfect Weather (R)
One Day at a Time
Just about perfect running weather out there today. The wind annoyed me a little though. Not sure why I’m so sensitive to wind. And even at 59 degrees, a lot of wind makes me feel cold. It was OK though.
Meant this to be an "easy" run, since I did over 4 miles yesterday at an 8:11 pace. Also, I didn’t want to take the day off from running since I may have to take tomorrow off (busy work schedule). So a good easy recovery run should bridge the gap, and I will be in full form for a good run on Friday.
Another thing . . . as I alluded to above . . . How could I NOT get out there and run today? The weather is great. It hasn’t been this comfortable in . . . well, we might have had one other day like this in the last 2 months. Just maybe. I’d have to go back and check. And tomorrow is supposed to be even better. Today was high 58F (but it’s already gotten up to 59F according to my stats below). Tomorrow it’s supposed to actually break 60F but I’ll be working so won’t get to take advantage of it. Whatever it does never lasts for long though . . . the days are still too short, so rest assured it will still be cold after sunset. I miss the days when I could run all hours of the night (summer). I work late shifts a lot and it’s just easier for me to run after work rather than before, since my motivation is higher later in the day.
