winter wonderland

So I officially updated my layout in time for winter.  I love winter, it’s my favorite season and not just because of all the holidays although those are great things.  No I love winter because it’s cold and it snows!!!  Hopefully I’ll have a reason eventually to really look forward to the holidays for, like having kids that believe in Santa Claus, haha.  I don’t want any birthdays or anniversaries to have to remember during the holidays though because they always seem downplayed compared to the holidays themselves…

Oh well.

I am planning on volunteering for the Special Olympics in February.  It’s on Valentine’s day this year (which falls on a Saturday, that’s why).  But sadly I don’t see any problems with that.  I am usually alone on V-day and I don’t really expect any different this year.  Particularly not with the way Hunter has been acting.  I am getting the feeling there will be a no-go coming my way soon.

Tomorrow I get to bake stuff all day and clean…yay.  Why did I come home for Thanksgiving again?  Oh yeah, food that I don’t have to buy and that can leave with me when I go back to school! : )
