 Finally getting around to updating for real.

I have 3 more days until my trip to the faire.  I’m getting more and more excited!  Time with Kay and one of my Sisters too hopefully.  Don’t know yet if she will be coming with us or if we are meeting up for dinner or something later in the day or something.  

My cough is still lingering but it’s mostly better so hopefully it won’t be a problem by the weekend.

So Kale’s roommate is a single mom.  She has full custody of her two older boys but her ex has custody of her two younger kids.  She works full-time so the older boys are left on their own a lot.  Their house is a disaster.  Their dogs pee and poop on the floor and the boys don’t clean it up so their house reeks.  She has a boyfriend who she has been with for about 2 months.  They are moving in together in a house he bought for her and him and the boys.  In the last 4 days she hasn’t been home at all.  She’s spent every night at her boyfriend’s place while she’s insisted her boys (the older of which is only 16) pack the house, all of it.  With no supervision other than Kale who has been having to pack his own stuff!  They didn’t go to school last week.  I don’t think they’ve been to school the last 2 days either considering they’ve been ‘moving’.  This woman is on my nerves.  She has definitely given me the impression she’s a terrible mom.  She doesn’t deserve those boys who have the potential of being sweet kids and she sure shouldn’t have 2 large dogs for pets.  They don’t walk them, their backyard is all of 10 square feet behind the townhouse.  It’s ridiculous.  She is on my nerves.  Ugh!

Ok well now that I’ve vented that and gone for a run I feel a bit better.

I just have to work a total of 16 1/2 more hours and make it through the next 72 hours without killing anyone, breaking anything, or encountering any financial hurdles. =)  I can do this!!!
