rejoice!

For I have my own internet again!!! LOL

Hrm…let’s see, where to start.

B and I went to the national zoo, my little brother in tow.  It was a lot of fun.  It absolutely poured rain the first hour we were there but it was still fun.  We got some ponchos and continued to walk around.  Got something to eat, took pictures.  B didn’t get to see his tigers though so he and I may take another trip back later this summer.  And he still want to drag me to Busch Gardens to go on this silly ride.  We”ll see though.  That one is pretty expensive the zoo is only as expensive as the cost of gas and the metro which is all of $35 really since the metro station is only about 30-45 minutes away from where I live (roughly not even a quarter a tank).  Busch Gardens is about 2-3 hours away plus $60 to get in, not to mention food and all the little goodies you want to buy once you’re there of course. 😛

The store will officially close on the 22nd of the month.  Meaning I need to find a job in the next 2-3 weeks.  It really sucks because this is supposed to be one of the slowest summers for jobs in years.  *sigh*  Then of course there is my internship paperwork to fill out.  And the school has requested verification of our income status because of the drastic change from last year’s taxes to this year’s, thanks to my mom having broken her arm and being out on workman’s comp for several months last year (and this year too).  I don’t know if they want copies or the originals of our W-2’s.  Need to find that out.

Still waiting on my refund from the community college.  Have to have that before I can enroll in the class up here.  Thankfully there are still spots open and the class I want doesn’t start til the 24th.  Hmm.  Waiting, story of my life.
