NoJoMo Day 7: home

My trip was good. I’m back home now, safe and sound. I got to spend time with Little which was great. I really miss being able to see her all the time. I told her about Isaac and she was happy to hear that I was dating again, a little mad that it took me a month to say anything though, lol. I also saw Gibby and of course Aubrey and the other sisters. I behaved and kept my mouth shut about everything. Most of them were pretty snotty. The only nice ones were the other alum and the new sisters but a lot of that is because the sisters all know that I would take Little’s side in a heartbeat if they said a word about her at all. One sister tried to and I very politely cut her off and said "I know, but I don’t care". That was the end of that.

Now I’m home and mostly just enjoying some relaxing. I don’t have laundry (for once), the Halloween decorations are done. I should put away some laundry though, stuff that has to get hung in the closet but I don’t feel like fighting to make space in there or track down hangers yet. I should though, maybe when I’m done. For now I’m enjoying sitting down in peace and quiet, a rare and treasured thing in my life.

I’m supposed to be picking up Isaac from the Armory when they are done. They left the fort around 12:30, it’s about an hour and a half trip (give or take traffic) then they have things to do at the Armory when they’re back. He said he’d give me a call when they finished up. I really hope it’s soon-ish. I’m kind of dying for a nap. I slept terribly last night and didn’t even get to enjoy DST. I didn’t fall asleep until after 1am and was up again around 6:30am, which is 6-ish hours of sleep but I don’t sleep straight through the night. I wake up frequently, turn and fuss, get comfortable then fall asleep again. It’s always, not just traveling, it’s how I sleep. So I make up for quality of sleep by needing lots of sleep. Ugh. Maybe I should look into Unisom or something. *sigh*

Maybe I will hang up clothes and nap now. I’m dragging butt the longer I sit here.
