NoJoMo Day 21: Zoo

Today was fantastic. It was drama-free for starters! LOL But on top of that it was the first ‘car trip’ that Isaac and I have ever taken together and it went really well. We spent the whole time talking pretty much. The trip was easy and we didn’t get lost even once! The zoo was chilly but beautiful and we actually saw quite a few animals out. Over-all, simply amazing. Easily one of my top 5 days off on record.

I’m pretty sure we won’t see much of each other this week since he will be working both jobs all week pretty much. I work every day this week including Thanksgiving and Black Friday. We might see each other on Thanksgiving to go see a movie. We didn’t make plans but I told him it might happen. It’s a tradition of mine but last year my uncle (who usually goes with me) bailed and if he bails again this year I’m not taking my snotty cousins, I’ll call up Isaac and make him go! But other than that, it’s going to be an uber busy week plus the holiday, which should be spent with family as much as possible.

I’m excited to see my puppy soon! It will be a few more weeks because of the holidays now and my obnoxious family coming to visit but that’s okay. I’m taking deep breaths and just biding my time.

I got my benefits package in the mail yesterday and have signed up. I start receiving health benefits as of January!! I’m super excited. I’ll be making appointments for the first week of January for pretty much everything. Optometrist, Ob-Gyn, dentist, chiropractor! Oh sweet lord in heaven, it will be amazing!! I also found out that I can get a dealer discount through the pharmacy on a new car so I’m looking more into that too. It’s not bad so far but I don’t know if I want to handle another loan-ish payment every month. I’ll work on that phone plan first and go from there to be honest.

Ok well, it’s midnight and I need sleep.
