Let the celebration commence!

So I was supposed to close the store tonight.  Instead I got a call a little before 9am asking me to come in at 10am.  I was understandably concerned if I was still closing.  No, I got of at 6pm.  It was nice.  Fairly busy and unfortunately our district manager was in.  Worse yet, tomorrow the VP of the company will be in our store during the day.  She is supposed to be leaving before/around the time I am coming in to close but she is anal about our uniforms so I have to find my other pair of pants (which I don’t like wearing, they are very low-cut waist), I have to be sure I wear short-sleeve shirt the right color, no ‘extra’ jewelry, and I can’t wear my cute pin on my name tag. 🙁  She takes away all the fun.  Now once she’s gone we can go back to doing things the normal way but while she’s there everything has to be perfect…blech.

And I came home knowing that I needed to check my grades online but I was very scared of doing so because I was really afraid I’d done badly in most of my classes.  So I got home, checked my emails, checked MySpace, Facebook, OD, every thing but my grades.  Ate dinner, then finally made my slow way over to the school-site…I got straight B’s, including ORGANIC!!!!!  *Squeals like the girl she is and does the happy dance*  My mom heard me screaming and was like WTH, what’s wrong?  I just threw my arms around her and jumped up and down and screamed, I was so happy!!!  A B in OCHEM!!!!!!  Hot dog!!!!!  That’s absolutely fantastic!!!  I was a little disappointed though that I didn’t get a single A…it’s the first time in my life I didn’t make even one A for final-grades.  🙁  But if that’s the karmic price for getting a B in Ochem, I will gladly pay it without complaint!  XD

I had planned on making cookies but I’m so exhausted.  I was up until 3am this morning on IM with Georgie while I was finishing up her Xmas card.  I had thought it would be ok since I was supposed to be working the closing shift meaning I was supposed to be able to sleep in.  Obviously that didn’t happen and I don’t function well for more than 6-8 hours at a time without a nap.  College life has changed me greatly.  I used to be able to go 18 hours before I felt tired, now I’m so used to having down-time in the afternoon between classes where I take a nap that my body is going ‘Hokay, you’ve been up since 8:53am, it’s now 8:56pm, that’s more than 12 straight hours without a nap, being on your feet for at least 7 1/2 hours’ (we don’t get to sit down at work…stupid retail ;p So I only got to sit down for my lunch and even that was only for 15 minutes since I had to walk halfway down the mall to get my lunch.)  My brain is awake but my body is going "Sleeeeep, sleeeeeeeep" like a deranged, brain-eating zombie going "braaaaaaain, braaaaaiiiiin".

On that note, mah wrestling is coming on and Armageddon was last night (I’m pretty sure at least) and I want to see if Jericho won the title from the Loud-Mouth Snot; and if mah Animal kept his title or it’s that Twerp that won…I could stomach the Phenom winning but not the Twerp. 

Anyhow, I’ll probably be back in a few hours to write some real meaty entries not just my little spastic stuff.  Hahaha.
