Challenge for 11/26

"…and that’s how we met."

How did you and your significant other meet? If you don’t have a significant other, how do you think you’ll meet?

Well I don’t really have a significant other.  The closest I have is Hunter right now.  Although the story of how we met isn’t all the glamorous it is kind of funny to tell.

He is actually the roommate of one of my close guy friends, Jayson, and I was over at their apartment hanging out with a bunch of people.  We watched Sydney White (cute movie btw) and then Hunter came out and sat with us while we watched Love Actually (sad, cute, romantic movie).  After that we all sat around talking for a while and then I left even though it was offered that I could stay the night (it was about 2am by this point).  

The next morning Hunter had friended me on Facebook which I thought was no big deal.  Then he text messaged me!!  I immediately messaged Jayson because I’m an awkward kid around guys lately and I had no idea what to say or why Hunter was messaging me since I really hadn’t said anything to him the night before.  Jayson said, well I guess you made an impression on him.  I ended up going back over there Sunday, dragging along my Big and Mega so that I wouldn’t be a complete awkward kid.

The funny thing is though that Hunter and I probably were supposed to have met long before then.  He lived in the exact same building that I did last year, just on the other side of it.  So we probably passed by each other a hundred times and didn’t even notice.  Then earlier this semester we had the Ultimate Frisbee tournament and Hunter was there on Jayson’s team.  There is actually a picture of Hunter and one of our other friends and I know for a fact I am just out of frame of this freaking picture, it’s soooo bizarre.

But yeah, that’s our story.
