A little chat

I’m taking a break before tackling my lab work for tomorrow.  Stupid teacher posted all this lab work (pre-lab for this week’s lab, and post-lab from last week’s lab, and the lab itself for this week) at like 5pm yesterday and of course normally the post-labs are due Wednesday morning during lecture.  He was nice enough to say "Oh just turn them in Thursday before your lab".  Yeah, really nice of you there Doc.  So we have to read the entire lab, do the write up, the pre-lab and the post-lab in less than 48 hours….so gracious, so giving.  9_9  Not.  I worked on the post-lab, don’t really think I got any of it right but I don’t really care right now.  I’m so lost in both my Organic classes that I have no doubt I will be failing in spite of all the effort I have been exerting otherwise.  Oh well.  Just gotta keep trying I guess.

I emailed my Unifying professor my paper topic so I did accomplish some stuff already today.  I have to do some research, still need to study more for my Organic test on Friday and of course maybe finally start my stupid Abnormal psych paper which I keep going to start and then every other teacher slams me with something stupid that is "due tomorrow".  *throws a tantrum*  This is ridiculous.  They must know that I’m going home this weekend so they’re trying to stress me out and piss me off so I can’t even enjoy my freaking weekend!  AGH!! *head desk*

And how sad is it that I completely forgot tomorrow is Valentine’s day?  Sad right?  I know!  My roomie said something to me about not going to the store this week and I asked her why not.  She was like "I told you my boyfriend is making me dinner at the house tomorrow and then I’ll be home Friday night anyway".  "Why is he making you dinner?"<—Yes I actually asked her that and she gave me the ‘the look’ of course, quite understandably and the pledge that was sitting in our living room of course turned and gave me a funny look too.  Greeeaaaaat…..I need her new pledge-brother thinking I’m a space cadet of course.  ;p

However the good news is even though my hard drive completely malfunctioned when it got here the company said they would send me the same make&model hard drive to replace the one I purchased.  On top of that they will be enclosing a UPS sticker (pre-paid) for me to send back the defective one I have here.  How nice, right?  I don’t even have to pay to have it shipped back.  The tech guy said he made sure to run tons of tests on the drive (why it took him an extra day to get back to me) to make sure it was functioning so if it still doesn’t work I’m going to be really pissed and will be calling this guy (yes I have the phone number for the company now!)!  So if that ships out tomorrow I got my last one within 2 days of shipping so I probably won’t get it before I leave for the weekend.  I will still be swinging back by the apartment before heading home on Friday to see if there’s a little sticky on my door saying "Hey your package is at the clubhouse."  Which would be nice but I doubt it.  More likely it will arrive either Saturday or Tuesday(Mon is a holiday remember? Pffft, not for me it’s not.  I still have class.) 

Ok it’s about time to wrap this up and get back to work.  Told myself I’d get back to work by 9pm and it’s 8:59pm haha.
