I said yes

I don’t have a lot of time to write about all the details of my vacation so far, but I wanted to share with my diary about yesterday.  We got to Williams, AZ in the late afternoon and the weather was starting to get rainy but Guy sort of insisted that we continue to the Grand Canyon so we could see it right away.  I told him that I thought it made more sense to just check into the hotel and go to the canyon in the morning, but he really wanted to go last night.

So we went.  We pulled into a lookout area and admired the canyon.  It’s definitely beautiful, but I couldn’t help think that it would be nicer with the sun shining.  At one point, I notice that Guy is next to me on his knees and I look over.  He is looking up at me with a huge nervous smile, and then he tells me that he can’t imagine his life without me and asks me to marry him.
