Good news

I landed an interview at the end of the week for a salon position that I might like that should come with built in clientele.

I have no intention of discussing my pregnancy. After being harassed at my last job during my last pregnancy and being blamed for missing hours while I had my dead foetus removed from my womb (when I was there more than the owner and mgmt combined, despite not getting paid), I intend to keep lil sticky to myself for as long as I possibly can. Maybe til my water breaks.

For that matter maybe from my relatives as well.

Not sure if you are in the U.S., but if so, it’s illegal for them to ask you in an interview and do not volunteer the info. And if they are polite humans in the least, they shouldn’t ask at all. I don’t remember who originally said it, but there’s a saying, “You should never ask a woman if she’s pregnant unless you can see the head crowning.”

Anyway, best of luck with your interview.

@kellzbellz Aye, I know. Im 5w and not showing so it will be a non issue for the interview.

…I just never shut up. If I have good news I like to tell everyone right away. Im used to working at mom-and-pops where its more of a family environment. The beauty business is taking some time for me to get used to.
