Election 2000: When will we know…

Okay it’s obivious that there isn’t a winner. It’s going to be a long long time before we do. And Gore is waiting for the Military vote now. Oh my goodness. Who here thinks he’ll get it, show of hands? If you raised your hand you are wrong. Military people vote Republican because they’re for the Military they don’t vote democratic. You may be saying how in the world do you know that. I know because my dad use to be in the Military and every military guy seems to vote Republician but a few. So I don’t know what Florida’s waiting for.

Oh get this, the democrats want Bush to be a statesman and step down. Yeah right. Bush is leading in Floridia it’s stupid to step down now. And you know what the democrats were saying last week. That the Electoral votes decide who win not the Popular vote. And you know they’re saying the exact office this week. Isn’t that funny. How tunes change in a weeks time. It’s so crazy it’s not funny down there right now. I mean come on lets just get a president. But I do get the Electoral college votes thing now and why they count. Okay check it out, the map shows that Bush actually has more of the states then Gore. Which means those states popular vote was for Bush which means he actually has gotten the popular vote. I mean only a few states have Gore because there’s a larger population there. That’s why he has so much of the vote in the electoral college. It all just made sense when I saw a map of county by county who vote for who the other day on t.v. And most of the country is in Bush’s Red and not Gore’s blue. So It makes sense why Bush winning is legal and everything.

And this oh Palm Beach County should get a revote because some Democrats voted for Buchannon on accident. Listen, no it doesn’t happen like that. By doing that, that literally underminds the means of voting. Epsecially with those people know the out come of the race. If they get to revote we should. It’s only fair. There is no way that vote could of been hard to understand. By Flordia Law the people in that county have to send out a sample ballot to everyone and put it in the paper explaining how to use it. And there were people at the voting place to help you with it. And those supposed 19,000 votes that got thrown out didn’t actually get thrown out. Those people double punched and had to say hey look I screwed up my ballot I need a new one and got a new one. So they had to throw out the old ballots. So the 19,000 got counted.

I personally think Gore needs to just be quiet know he lost and go on with his life. If they keep pushing this, this is going to hurt the Democrats. There are people who actualy have talking to some Democrats out west and they are already distancing themselves away from Gore and in Flordia also. So you know This needs to end. Bush is basiclly the winner and that’s the end of it. Even still if this goes to congress on the 9th of Decemeber Bush will win then because the Republicans control the house anyway so either way Gore needs to accept defeat. Hopefully soon this will be over and we can move on and worry about more important things like the possible break out of war in the Middle East.
