Alright, brushing off the layer of dust which has accumulated since my last visit….

I’m a father.  I’m a husband.  I’m a Soldier.  I’m a professional diaper wrangler… so goes the last year.  Man, a lot has changed.  It’s hard for me to fathom just how quickly it has all gone by.  I’m happily married to an absolutely wonderful woman and starting the family i always wanted.  Crazy… just craziness. 

I don’t really know exactly what it is I want to say right now, but I’m sure I’ll get something more fluid going in the next few days.  Hopefully I can actually write in here often enough for that to even come to fruition. 

The weather lately has been absolutely crazy.  Ice has been a constant and I’ve gone into work for snow/ice removal a couple times.  I’m not sure it it will equate to overtime, but I’m just glad for the extra income.  Speaking of extra income, Matt needed some help getting to bed for the next couple of weeks. It’ll be nice to get the extra bucks, but I’m glad to help him out with whatever he needs right now.  Cerebral Palsy isn’t a very convenient diability to have.  It was nice to catch up with him tonight and talk about what’s been going on in both our lives. 

Marshall’s been a little booger.  He’s taken to some cholic.  It’s hard, but we manage.  So far we’ve been using some gripe water which seems to do the trick.  It has some fennel and ginger in it which supposedly helps calm cholichy babies.  Most of the women on iVillage swear by it and if it works for so many of them, we figured we could give it a whirl.  At $11 a bottle, it’s pricey, but worth the dough. 

I’ve got some serious habits to get moving along right now.  I need to get to working out more regularly, especially since I will be leaving for Basic Training in February.  I need to read my scriptures more regularly and more often.  I’ve slacked a lot lately, and I’m definitely feeling the effects.  I thinke Em and I could definitely use a good shot of adrenaline in the FHE department as well.  Oh well… it all takes some extra effort, and I’m working on it.  Anyways, I’m off to hit the hay.  Loves.
