MS150

So here’s my profile pic for the MS 150 for next season.  Yep… that’s me… in a biker’s outfit.  Tight shorts and all =0) 

Here’s a closeup… probably too close.  I’ll be 20 pounds lighter in about 3 months.

Alrighty, so I’m training for the next MS 150.  I plan on blazing the whole darn thing as well.  Starlett, consider this my official shoutout to you ;0)  Right now the farthest I’ve ridden is 53 miles.  I still have some distance to cover, obviously.  I was actually just out about an hour ago biking along Stadium Blvd, but I ran over a glass bottle and it punctured my rear tire.  You know, I really need to get a spare tire kit to carry around with me.  One of these days I’m going to be out 50 miles and get stuck.  At least I bring my cell phone with me. 

The last week has been pretty crazy.  I’ve been talking with some old friends and Beth and I have been trading a few friendly e-mails.  Let’s just say it’s been good to talk to a good friend.  I’ve been spending quite a bit of time with Joey and Maegan as well.  Haha… Joey slept at my place three nights in a row last week.  He lives up in Moberly, so it’s easier for him to stay overnight at my place rather than make the drive late at night.  It’s been a blast.  Last night we actually went up to Moberly with some friends and had a party at the O’laughlin’s place.  His mom made this awesome chili.  I got to play with his brother’s kids and that alone made the night completely worth it.  I just love playing with kids.  They’re so fun.  =0)  I did, however, discover that I’m much more allergic to cats that I expected.  I held their cat for about 10 minutes and I broke out badly.  My fingers swelled up and my eyes swelled almost shut… I had to take a shower and take some antihistamines to stop the swelling.  Other than that, the evening rocked. 

Well, Joey is on his way over, so I’m gonna get going.  Peace out.
