Bangit

Alright, so today was infinitely better than yesterday.  I suppose you could attribute this to the fact that Matt was pretty much in his sessions most of the time   I took the down time to head over to the mall and investigate some of the interesting-looking stores.  Get this… they had a Sony Style, Bose, and Bang & Olufsen store.  I swear to you, I died and went to heaven.  I can’t even begin to tell you how incredibly insane it was to play with a $30,000 surround sound system.  I was speechless for about 45 minutes.  There was absolutely no one else in the store the whole time (since Bang & Olufsen is a VERY expensive name), so I had all the time i wanted to play around.  The salesperson and I had a great time comparing sound fields and talking about all kinds of audiophile junk.  Was this system worth $30,000?  YES.  It was simply amazing.  I was even watching the movies I was listening to on a 65 inch plasma screen.  I could have sat there all day.  I thought the Bose and Sony systems were pretty sweet, but they hold NOTHING to the Bangs.  I’m going to have dreams about this tonight, I just know it….

Oh yeah, I also got to finally try a fish taco.  I went to the famous Rubeo’s and had a fish taco especial.  Man, was that good.  I also had a pepperoni pizza pretzel… mmmm…  and I didn’t have to pay for ANY of it!!!!  Mwahahahaha!  Well, actually, I paid for the Rubeos, but that was because we were already tight on the expenses for the day.  Sooo worth it, though.

Matt and I went to the Crocodile Cafe for dinner… and it sucked.  Big time.  The service rocked, but the food was just bland.  Anywho, I’m going to go read up on some GIS and get aquainted with some more Conroe speak.  Later.
