yes a real life update

I so need to update my profile pic here!  I will soon enough.

so much has happened and we are adjusting well.  We finally made it back home in time for Nathan to start the new semester.  I am so glad he took on a lighter load and only has 2 and a half days of classes.  We still had to spend over $1000 dollars on school books and a stupid clicker for his elder law class.  Monday he has a 2 hour class that starts at 3:15 and then Tuesday and Thursday he has 3 classes and spends his lunch break at the law library.  so he is home on Wednesday and has a three day weekend every week!  This way, he can help with Hailey and Kyle and still find time to study.  Plus he and I can squeeze in sometime for each other.

for now he stays up late and sleeps in and I go to bed early and am upearly, so someone is with Hailey and feeding her.  Yes I am nursing her and I am pumping.  Nathan uses the milk I pump to feed her when he is up with her.  This is a nice change and allows me to get more then a couple hours of sleep in between feedings!

Hailey is growing and healthy!  She missed her doctor’s appt last week, because we were snowed in!  This is the first time living up here in Idaho, that we have ever been snowed in.  Last week was awful with snow and after a couple of days of being trapped, we had to finally get triple A to come out and get our car out of the parking lot here!

Kyle is loving being a big brother!  He is so good with Hailey and being very well behaved.  We have been able to find time to do special things for him.  Nathan and I want to make sure he does not feel left out.

I think this week, I am starting to feel better and am able to do more.  My poor home is in shambles and I need to get it back in order.  I am glad that Nathan is helping me.  I also was able to go clothing shopping this past week!  I have been losing weight and am looking good!  I am happy that I am now down to a size 14/16.  I want to be around a 12/14.  That is my goal.  I have gone down several sizes and it feels so good!  I wasn’t this thin before my pregnancy and even then I had lost a bunch of weight!  Eating several small meals throughout the day, exercise, even if it is just walking, and taking my thyroid meds have helped me so much!  I need to keep this up!

Today I hope to work on the living room and do some laundry.  Kyle mentioned yesterday that he wanted tortellini for dinner.  I may do that.  If I do, I need to make up a sausage marinara sauce in my crock pot.  I went to the grocery store yesterday and so we are stocked up.  I was so glad that last week on Tuesday, I took Nathan to class and kept the car and went shopping with Hailey.  Because the rest of the week we were snowed in!  If I had not gone shopping, we would have been scraping through the pantry and living on mac and cheese and who knows what else.  Heck we would have been out of coffee too!!!  I plan to write in here a whole lot more.  I have time to sit and write again.
