WAY TOO MUCH HAS BEEN GOING ON!!!

Last year at this time, I had started a new job, went back to college for another degree, was planning my wedding and getting ready to begin some massive dental work that would take nearly 8 months to complete.  I was a great big ball of stress then.

Nate was also studying for the LSATS and we were trying to house sit for Nate’s folks on top of all of this.

I looked at Nate and started to discuss this.  Once the wedding was done, Nate had already done the LSAT’s and we had to begin deciding on which schools to choose to apply to.

It has been nonstop planning major life changes.  NON FREAKING STOP!!!  I can’t believe I haven’t had a complete and total meltdown.

In two weeks we will be loading up a moving truck with some of our belongings and relocating up to the Panhandle of Idaho.  We are donating much of our stuff and tossing some of it.  We also are putting a few things in storage, replacing some items and getting some new stuff.

I am trying not to get to emotional about leaving behind our friends and family.  I know once I stop and digest it all, the tears will start and not want to stop.

I know it is only temporary and that we will be visiting for holidays and the summer.  It is only for a couple of years but that isn’t going to change how much I am going to miss everyone.  It isn’t going to change how alone I will feel at times.  I have loved my life and been quite happy.  I am praying that these next couple of years will be wonderful to.

This is such an incredible opportunity for us.  Nate is a genius.  He is hardworking and determined.  I know he will do well in Law School.  I know that something like this can better our lives.  I know it will open doors of opportunity for our son.  It still doesn’t lessen the stress or feeling of lose leaving everyone for a few years.

I am tired of continuously going, going, going.  I am tired of leaping from one stress filled thing to another.  Nate joked and said,"You may actually get a bit of a break while we are in Moscow and I am in school."  He may have a point there.

There is a part of me longing for the quiet, of not planning something, not having to go from one family event to another.  I am looking forward to the break.

Funny thing is that I know after awhile of enjoying the quiet and peace, I will grow bored and restless.  Come to think of it, bored and restless is sounding really good right now.

You’ll make new friends there and you’ll feel that way about them when you guys move back. *HUGS* But my heavens I know you’ll sleep for weeks after all this!!

Thank GOD for the internet!! — When I moved to Utah, from Connecticut, we had snail mail and land line phones! — I lasted 9 months LOL — You will be more connected than you realize once your computer is hooked up and the internet is wired!! – Nonetheless, when the ‘lonely’ sets in on days, and it will, embrace it, for it reminds us of how much we really are blessed with in our lives!! ~ Kit
