THE DMV SUCKS DONKEY BALLS!!!

Today I marched in there armed with copies of documents from 2 years ago when we started this process of my parents signing my car over to me.  It seemed so simple.  IT HAS BEEN HELL.

I have been dealing with them closely since January and every time, it is supposively fixed, IT ISN’T AND ONLY A BIGGER MESS!!!

So I finally get a copy of the current title, in which we were told was still all in my parents name…..Guess what, it was in my name but misspelled and my mom was still on it and the address was wrong.  How did this happen?  Who knows.  Apparently the system doesn’t like that my Name is Denise and my Dad is Dennis.  The title had it as Denis.  

The lady was then going to tell me, that she couldn’t help me because the name on the title isn’t the same as the power attorney or mine.  I nearly flipped my lid.  I glared at the woman while calmly explaining that I needed this all fixed today.  I have had enough of this.  She apologized and got help higher up.

We had to fill out some paperwork explaining that this was a DMV error and that the car is suppose to belong to me. 

When inputing into the computer we had to add my full middle name so there wouldn’t be anymore troubles and I got all new plates to start fresh once again.

Am I annoyed?  Oh heck yeah!!!! 

Now a new title with my name on it, spelled correctly will be mailed to me.  If i don’t get it, I am suppose to call.  I really hope it doesn’t come to that.
