NoJoMo #12 – A day in the Life of Me

 

6am I roll out of bed wishing I had gotten up earlier but feeling like I want to go back to sleep.

After I shower, dress and check emails, my son was still sleeping refusing to wake up. (if this was on the weekend around 4am he would be awake and yelling for me to get him so we can play.)

6:30 I try to wake him again and he waves at me and say Night night.  I laugh and tickle him and he gets up.

6:50 we are on the road and headed to my son’s sitter

7:05 I am leaving hte sitters and headed to work

I NEED to stop for a Latte and so go through the drive through at Moxie Java..

I find parking which is hard with the large amount of temps we have working during the Annual enrollemnt Season at work.

I get a bottle of water, and check my emails and wonder if i should log in and help take calls or see what needs to be worked on and escalated.

Today was an easy day for me at work but a busy one. 

I covered my co-workers break in the morning and ran all over the call center answering questions and helping out the counselors and temps.  I am going to have said co-worker do the same fo rme on Friday when I go on break.  LOL

I dragged on through work and then by 4pm I was out the door and headed to pick up my son.

My son was at the local gym with my sitter and I met them there.  we headed home, where my brother was waiting.

My brother hung out and we talked about crazy stuff.  Kyle my son was playing and watching sponge bob and talking to us.

6pm – prepare my son for bed with a bath and fresh diapers.  When I put him down into his crib he waves and says night night.

I leave his room and take out the ahi tuna steaks to thaw for dinner. 

Nathan is working late due to crap at work.  I almost stayed late but got out of it.

I am now thawing dinner and relaxing.

sorry today was a dull day.
