Doing better and good times

Nathan had a brilliant idea yesterday.  To help out he suggested we have my niece come over.  My niece is trying to earn money to replace her DS that was broken by a friends little sister.  My brother and sister in law really can’t afford to go and buy her a new one, not even a used one.  She had been saving money to buy more games or Miley Cyrus CD;s.   She has been doing extra chorse at home to earn it but even then they don’t have enought to give her over time.  So Nathan suggested if she does some housework for us we could pay her $50.  Her folks loved the idea and she came over to help.  Her folks were hoping that she could earn at least $100 to go towards the DS and she is almost there now.  Only like 10 or 20 left to go.

My home was sparkling in time for the UFC party and her folks surprised her and took the money from me and bought her a brand new DS.  She still has to work off money she owes on that but not a whole lot.   

I got a new manicure yesterday which was nice and pampering.  The meds are helping out and I can tell I am getting better.  Last night I was in a lot better shape.

It was exhausting going to the store though.  And I forgot that today was super bowl sunday and people went crazy at the store.  There must have been a raid on lil Smokies.  I found the last three packages hidden behind bacon.    It was brutal trying to shop and I was so glad that lil dude was home with Nathan.   Oh I did find some lil stuffies of the Wonder Pets and got him Linnie, Tuck and Ming Ming.  He loves them.

I just wanted to collapse and rest after that mess at Fred Meyer’s.  Which I pretty much could do since Kendra my niece was there to help me.

so my mage is now at level 30 and has a mount.  I am very excited by this.  I am really have a lot of fun.  heh  I did finally purchase the expansion for WoW.  I was using the 10 day trial this past week and figured I should buy it.

I lost so much of my crafting and scrapbooking supplies when I left my ex.  Which reminds me of that night I grabbed a few things and left.  I grabbed a box of paints and a box of my crafting stuff, my laptop and a family heirloom.  My mother smiled and laughed a bit when she saw my priorities because she would have done the same as me.

Well this weekend I got a new cutter/board from fiskars, and I found the perfect papers and embelishments for the album and pictures my mom got me for christmas.  I am so excited to start up on this.  My mother made copies of old family pictures going back to my great grandparents and all the way to the present.  I will share some here on OD.  Inface there is ones from the movies my great grandfather Slim did and him with JOhn Wayne.

I also bought a new label maker.  I have some drawers set up next to my desk now, for paper and discs and mailing supplies and mail and such.  I can label them now and Nathan won’t be confused trying to find things that i have organized.

I am always happier in an organized space.  I really hate being sick.  And it has slowed me down a lot lately.  I hope with these new antibiotics that I will be better soon.
