A bottle of Wine and a box of Chocolates

mmmmmmmmmm That is what I am having tonight.  OK that isn’t my dinner, that is my dessert!  It is a gift to me!  LOL

I have a bottle of Huckleberry wine and a box of See’s Chocolates that I picked up today.  Trust me it is a good mix.  My mouth is in heaven.  My husband is laughing at me, totally amused.

You know what, I totally appreciate how Nate will get up in the middle of playing a game or reading, to get Kyle something.  He doesn’t expect me to do it all.  I say this now because Kyle came out asking for an icey pop and Nate paused his game, got up and got it or him.

Anyway things are still crazy busy for us.  I am totally burnt out.  I am hoping to get unburnt out tonight and be prepared for another busy day tomorrow. Yesterday we were running around all over the place.

We woke up early, stopped at the gas station/McDonald’s near our home.  I got an Iced Mocha at Mcy D’s and Nate got a rockstar and Kyle a bug juice at the gas station.  From there we headed to the DMV.  It did not go as smooth as hoped.  They ended up not being able to fix the title right then and there, because my car is not over 10 years old.  So they promised that the title would be available on Tuesday morning and we could fix the mess then.

From there we went to the unemployment office and dropped off paperwork to file for the last two weeks for Nate.

both of these trips were quick and easy.  This was a relief and so when Kyle asked us to stop at the park to play, we did!  Kyle has been asking to visit this particular park for weeks.  I am so glad we could go there and it was cool and shady outside!

After the park we decided to try to run by the library but it was closed.  Then we realized we were all hungry.  Kyle has been asking for over a month now to go to Red Lobster  So once again we did something for Kyle and went there.  Of course we also really enjoyed it!  LOL

We also had to go to the grocery store and a couple of other stops.  I bought a lot of the frozen skillet meals for the week.  I feel bad for not preparing the food myself, but it is better then fast food or eating out the whole time.  It is just I don’t have the time or energy to do a lot of cooking these couple of weeks.  By the way the food is pretty good.  Tonight we had a pasta dis by Bertolli.  I would try that again.

Today I almost forgot that I had a play date planned with my son and an old friend of mine and her daughter.  I am so very glad that I not only have lists on my computer but I am carrying around my Franklin Planner with my notes and lists and calendar.  It has been so helpful in keeping me on top of things.

I did also go back to the DMV but the title wasn’t ready yet.  I could have went back later in the day but I was too exhausted and tired.  I took a nap instead.  I did get back to the library though today when they were open.  So I wasn’t completely unproductive.

Tomorrow, I am going to deal with the DMV, so that Thursday I can get our SUV in the shop and by Friday give the car to my brother.  We decided that we would rather just bring one car with us.  Therefore we are leaving the Focus with my brother.  The car was a gift to me from my parents and so I know how much my brother and his family need two cars but only have one.  So this works out for them and we are going to keep their washer with us.  Now if we decide we need the focus, we will bring it up, but I doubt we will.

I also plan on doing some laundry, clean up the house a bit and help Nate and my brother go through the garage.  The garage isn’t overwhelming, we do keep both cars in there, so we couldn’t put too much in there.  LOL

Last night I did finalize food details for Kyle’s party at Chuck E Cheese.  I am so excited about this party!!!  Kyle keeps asking everyday if we can go.  I am glad we can do this for him.

Well the wine slowed me down in writing this entry and I have to be up early tomorrow.

Oh wait one more thing.  Awhile back Nate and I looked into a preschool home school program that my cousin uses.  We liked it.  She is helping us with getting Kyle enrolled and the tuition completely covered!!!  This is so exciting.  I know he will love using the computer even more and learning too. THANK YOU ANNIE!

Many of you are in my heart and prayers.  Thank you for your prayers and support also.
