wow, it’s been awhile, huh?
It’s hard to believe it’s been two months since I wrote an entry. I literally just can’t find time to get in here to write. Gavin is napping right now and I refuse to do house work. I’m sick and need a break. And Gavin is sick. Again. I haven’t been to work all week because we’ve both been ill. 🙁 Yes, I am back at work. It has been an OK transition but I’d still much rather be at home! Because it’s been so long and I dont’ even know where to start, I’m just going to let you all read a little of my regular "diary" that’s just random notes about what’s been going on. 😉 I’ll start from the snow storm:
2/3/11: I think Gavin purposely batted at a toy today for the 1st time and I got it on video! He’s still congested but I think he’s feeling better. Only used the nebulizer once today.
2/4/11: Gavin ate a 6oz bottle today! He was feeling better but fussy and sleepy. Maybe 3 month growth spurt?
2/5/11: Had a dentist appt today. Two cavaties. 🙁
2/6/11: Packers win the superbowl! 🙂 Ben dropped a glass from a picture frame on his foot today. Bled A LOT. Almost took him to the hospital!
2/7/11: Had a chiropractor appt today. Gavin had a good day today. Took a 2.5 hr nap in his crib! He is really starting to pay attention to his baby einstein DVDs.
2/8/11: Brought Mocha and Java to the groomer tonight. Mocha got a lion cut. They couldn’t do anything with Java because she was hissing and growling so much they couldn’t even get her out of her carrier!
2/9/11: Gavin was using his hands quite a bit today to reach out and touch his puppy dog.
2/10/11: Went into work today with Gavin so everyone could meet him. He got lots of compliments! Letty wanted to take him home with her!
2/11/11: Last day of maternity leave 🙁 Gavin started rolling over from his tummy to his back! Found out Cassie and Shawn are expecting another baby in September!!!
2/12/11: Ben had to go into work today (Saturday). Took both the cats to the vet with Gavin. Quite a juggling act with two cat carriers and a car seat!
2/13/11: Mom and Dad get here to watch Gaving for the next month until he can get into daycare. Went to Mill Rose for brunch!
2/14/11: First day back at work 🙁 1st day went pretty fast. Busy.
2/15/11: Mom said Gavin laughed today and I missed it. 🙁 🙁
2/19/11: Sophia’s 3rd birthday!! Mom, Ben, Gavin and me met up with Gloria and Walter at Sweet Tomatoes for lunch. Gavin also sat up on my lap today with no support!
2/20/11: Ben’s mom and dad come up for the day. Rains all day and thunderstorms. Gavin’s 1st thunderstorm and he didn’t seem to care! Heard him giggle today for the first time!
2/21/11: Day off of work for president’s day. Put together the jumperoo for Gavin. He really likes it!
2/25/11: Gavin is 4 months old!
2/26/11: Me, Mom and Gavin go shopping at hobby lobby. Got Gavin’s 1st easter basket. It’s an airplane!
2/27/11: Gavin has an incident today where he stopped breathing for a few seconds. Scared both of us. He seems OK now though… will call the Dr tomorrow.
2/28/11: Called Gavin’s Dr. They said it could have been a fluke but to watch him and call if it happens again.
3/4/11: Take a 1/2 day off of work to take Gavin’s things to the daycare and to take him to his 4 month checkup. He’s up to 12lbs 9oz and 24 inches long! He did fine with his shots
3/5/11: Having my 2 cavaties filled today. 🙁
3/6/11: Gavin’s all broke out today. His eczema is all over his face, arms and chest! 🙁
3/7/11: Called Gavin’s Dr and they told us to try hypoallergenic formula for his eczema. It’s really expensive and stinks!
Ok, Gavin is waking up…. I’ll have to finish some other time!!! Sorry.
