Rootbeer and Caramels

I celebrated the fact that I DON’T have gestational diabetes today by having a big glass of rootbeer and a caramel!  🙂  So yeah, great news.  Now I’m just waiting on the results of the test to see if the baby has spinabifida (spelling?).  Fingers definitely crossed on that one. 

The test turned out to be not as bad as I was expecting.  The three hours actually went pretty fast because I brought a book and my nintendo DS so I kept switching between the two.  After I had the last draw I was like, "really?  that’s it?  I have to go to work now?"  lol.  But I’m just glad it turned out ok!  One less thing for me to worry about.

I swear I drove through a hurricane on the way home from work.  The trees were literally laying down and there were branches and leaves flying every where.  And I almost got lost in this huge subdivision because the road I normally take was closed because a power line was down in the middle of the street and the only way around it was to go back about ten miles or turn into a crazy confusing subdivision.  Thank God for Garmens!  But yeah, what a crazy storm.  Glad it’s over.  I’m NOT a fan of storms.

I think I’ll go play xbox for awhile before Ben gets home.  The only chance I get a turn on it is when he’s not home. 😉
