1 (?) day of bed rest… ug

So I had a MAJOR cramp this morning at like 5am.  It woke me up and I was immediately wide awake thinking "What the hell was that!?"  Then I had several more small cramps throughout the morning.  Scared me enough that I called my doctor and they had me come in for an appt right then.  He listened to the baby’s heartbeat, which still sounds great and checked my cervix.  I’m definitely not dialating or anything like that and he said he saw no bleeding or anything so he thinks everything is fine.  He thinks it’s probably (TMI?) from a combination of uterine cramps and constipation.  So he told me to stop at Walgreens and get some medicine to help with constipation and then told me to go home and go on bed rest for the rest of the day.  And if I have any cramps I’m supposed to stay home from work tomorrow too and stay on bed rest until Tuesday.  I haven’t had any other cramps yet though… so hopefully all is good now.  It was scary though!  I was so sure he was going to check my cervix and see I was dialating or something! 

On the way home before I stopped at Walgreens I stopped at the Goddard daycare by us and put down a $1,500 deposit for daycare.  UG.  It’s $1,398 a month.  I can’t believe we have to spend that much every single month for daycare.  I sure hope we can make it!  We definitely may have to make some adjustments (goodbye HBO and Showtime? 😉 )  But we both really liked that daycare and they called us and said they are going to have an opening March 1st (we needed an opening for like the 17th) and that if we wanted to reserve it we have to pay the registration fee and the first month tuition.  So we just went for it.  The school is awesome though.  I have a friend from work who put three kids through it and she loves it.  She’ll be happy to know we’re going there too. 🙂

Well, I’m not exactly bed resting sitting up in this chair, so I guess I should go lay back down.
