May God and Mike the Tiger have mercy on your soul
Last night was kind of stupid. I went to the Tap Room to watch the LSU game. I ended up somehow getting so drunk I could not drive myself home and had to call a cab. How stupid. I had no intention of that. LSU beat ALABAMA! 🙂 There is this hilarious video by Wright Thompson saying how LSU fans have a "gothic hate reserved for microwave gumbo, Yankees who confuse Creole with Cajun, villians like, FEMA, BP…and Nick Saban", "May God and Mike the Tiger have mercy on your soul." Part of the reason it is so hilarious is because the guy talking sounds so completely serious.
The theme of the week is "What were you doing 10 years ago?" I almost consulted my old entries to find out, but decided that was too much work. The point that stands out the most that I wanted to mention was that I have been writing here for 10 years!!! I can’t believe it.
There is no way I’m going to be able to write every day in November, so I’m not doing NoJoMo this year, but NoJoMo’s existence makes me remember to write more this month than usual, lol.
I talked to Arun today. He is doing a great job with his running. Everything he said was about runners and running. Oh and he’s reading a book about Alan Greenspan.
Love,
Julie
