Now that it’s cool out….
My timing is off by a day…oh well. Today it’s cool, cool, cool and gorgeous. UP until then it’s been sweltering here in DC. Crazy hot, thus the egg on Rok.
I’ve been doing statistics homework and also some 3d collages…I have a show in December so I’ve been busy.
This is an unfinished 3d collage:
I think it needs a pergola over the window. The table under the flowers sticks out about an inch and a half….and the plants on the left are not painted and flop around. Fun project.
Been reading when I can but haven’t left too many notes….sorry. I can’t wait to have a bit more of a breather to catch up with everyone. IN the mean time I hope everyone is well and having a good spring/summer.
lovely. my sister liked to do collages. i’ll send you one of The Berlin Wall she did 40 yrs ago before it was taken down

Nice collage! I do love collage. Do you know Anne Ryan’s work? I saw one of her early collages at our local museum a few weeks back and was impressed. Glad you are having a break from the intense heat. And Upsa and Rok too. It must be quite challenging doing statistics homework when one is that hot.

Oh, Upsa’s woken up! Lovely! Here nothing would fry on Rok at all; it’s freezing! I refuse to put my heater on before 5 p.m., so am sitting her all rugged up but with frozen fingers. (I can’t type with gloves on.) I hope your Summer School is going/has gone well.

ryn: Gary has two new DVD’s coming out in August, one on Depression and one on Anxiety and I am pretty sure he goes into the Nine Cities Model on them because we were looking at his powerpoint presentation for the DVDs. http://www.pranamaya.com/teachers/gary-kraftsow

ryn – thank you! I feel like a kid when I’m experimenting 🙂 I love your collage, especially the river flowing right through it. Gorgeous movement too with the plants that “flop around” like the fish in the water! Thanks for stopping by my diary, leaving me a pathway here 🙂
