With my own eyes
I saw the hurt
I saw the betrayal

I never knew there could be so much deception

I don’t know who to trust
I dont’ know how to deal
He will help me
He always pulls me through

He pulls me up
from the dark
Where I can
Rise above

the hurt
the betrayal
the deception

I look down at the world and I smile.

I’m in a better place now.
