Amazingly awesomeness!!! (part 1)

I know I’m so slack at updating here, so here goes…

David has been back from his overseas trip for a while now and everything is going well. I’ve met his new boss and his wife and they are super nice and really easy to get along with 🙂  David has been quite busy at work, since with a new boss taking over it means more after hours functions that the boss has to attend, therefore meaning later nights for David. But even though I don’t get to see him all the time, it makes the times I do get to see him all the better (and the extra overtime pay is always a bonus too)!

Last week David got back from a week in the Cook Islands where he had to go to work on an international conference. He didn’t get to see much of the beautiful scenery or relax at all, but he did get to meet Hillary Clinton and even had his photo taken with her. Random, but still kind of exciting 😛

Everything has been going great between us, the love and appreciation for one another, the understanding, the sex (!!) all is great 🙂

This week I went and gave blood. It’s taken me ages to be accepted for it, but I’m finally glad I was not deferred this time! They said that I was a quick bleeder, taking only 7 minutes to fill the bag from when the needle was inserted into my arm. It’s quite amazing just how much larger the needles they use compared to the ones I use each day for work – they use 14G needles, we use 21G. Didn’t hurt at all though, and I felt fine afterwards too 🙂 just doing my part and giving back I guess!

I found out that Tim (the ex) did in fact cheat on me. He slept with a work colleague and also with another girl which he got pregnant! So glad I got out when I did. I was a bit angry and upset, but I’m over it. There’s just no point living in the past when I nothing I do now can affect it. And besides, I love my life right now and all that I have, and if it weren’t for past experiences I wouldn’t be where I am today 🙂
